Urbanscapes are one of my favourite subjects. Their often underlying strong lines allow my creative brain to find hold in a more rigid pattern, for me an ideal consolidation of creativity and rational focus.

It is the angles, the lines and the structural details that fascinate me and often the occurrence of a compensator—a tilted object amongst only straight objects, a decayed one amongst shiny objects or just a horizontal line running against predominantly vertical lines—create a balance between perfection and imperfection that allow my brain to find rest.
